CHECKLIST NON-DEGREE SEEKING STUDENTS
General Application Procedures
Complete and submit Non-Degree Seeking Student Application Form.
Applications cannot be processed if student is currently admitted to a degree-seeking program at FIU.
Applicant must either select Undergraduate or Graduate Courses, not both.
Student can attend only one term for Undergraduate Courses, not exceeding 15 credits without 'Affiliation'.
Student can attend more than term for Graduate Courses, not exceeding 12 credits without 'Affiliation'.
 
All Non-Degree Seeking Students claiming Florida Residency must provide proof / documents as required by State law.
Residency/

Immunization

All students must meet University immunization requirements and provide proof of immunization for the following: MMR - Measles, Mumps, Rubella as well as Meningitis and Hepatitis B. If immunization proof not met, student may not register.
Financial Aid
Non-Degree Seeking Students are not eligible for Financial Aid.
Certificate Program Students, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (305) 348-7272 for eligibility.
Registration/

Payment of Classes

Payment in full for tuition and fees must be made to Florida International University by the payment deadline date of each term.
All students will be financially liable for late registration, late payments, 'DR' class drops (after drop deadline) of each term as well as unwanted classes not dropped by the student by the add/drop deadline for each term. See Academic Calendar online for dates.
